Pinnacle of Success
May 13, 2008
Within a one-week period, HMH Builders successfully completed a critical path of construction at three of its job sites. Crews at Kaiser Santa Rosa, Lodi Memorial Hospital and Natomas Gateway Tower successfully Topped-Out the structural steel framework for each building.
Topping-Out three projects in such a short timeframe sets a record for HMH. The achievement represents the work put forward to reach the highest point of the structure, which sets the stage for building-out the interior and exterior of the buildings.
At each site, the project milestone was celebrated in traditional fashion. Ceremonies were held and the final beams were painted white for employees, owners and subcontractors alike to autograph. Then, American flags and symbolic trees were affixed to the beams before they were hoisted into permanent positions atop each structure. With a few closing words, the ceremonies ended and the fun began with congratulatory parties.
A job well done to all the workers who contributed!
